Would recommend that people make the time to view the rooms beforehand to decide what size they need. The online tool is good but no substitute for seeing the space in real life. We ended up needing a second room which doubled the cost (unexpected). Would also be better if 24 hour access was available at no extra cost.

We have never used self storage before. From making the initial phone call to enquire about the service Yellow Storage offered to the date of moving our furniture into the Colchester Store we were very impressed. We would recommend this store to anyone.
Staff very helpful and checking in was very simple. Staff member sorted out the space we would need which meant changing space from our original estimate
The staff were very helpful, shame the local Council will not allow larger signage outside, it would make finding the entrance easier! Later opening hours would be more helpful, it would probably save everyone turning up at the weekend if they could get access until 7 or 8 o'clock in the evening.
We have used big yellow for some short term storage. They were easily the cheapest in Colchester and the staff were very helpful. Access is simple and I feel that my possessions are being kept in a safe and controlled environment.

Once located the personnel could not have been more helpful and continued access is very simple.
Ideally, I'd like to pay less but the service was extremely good, very nearly worth the difference.
