We needed short-term storage during a house move. The staff were extremely helpful in suggesting the most efficient way for us to use the facilities. Being able to get extra packing materials was an unexpected but welcome bonus
We used the Big Yellow for over a year, to declutter and store things prior to a major house move. During this time we upgraded from a smaller unit to a bigger one, and were frequent visitors as we swapped things in and out of storage. The access and security arrangements were excellent, the unit was conveniently located on my route home from work, the staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly, and the place was always clean. The only improvements I would have liked would be a coffee machine and toilet for customers!
Staff in Guildford were well informed and communicative, store space was great, in particular I was happy that there was no dampness in the space, also easy weekend access. Staff also made my close very easy and I felt that it was good value at the end, i.e. no bickering over payments when I removed my items mid month and repayment was prompt.
When we first decided to rent a room with Yellow Box, we didn't quite know what to expect. However we were impressed at the amazing number of sizes of rental space available. It all seemed a reasonable price. Since renting a space a couple of years ago, we have upgraded to a bigger space once and then back down to a smaller space and there has never been any problem with this. The change is effective immediately and the rent changed accordingly. There is always a member of staff in reception and they always acknowledge us. Taking stuff out of the room or putting it back never presents a problem.It is just like having a spare room.
In many years of use now,I have never seen a light bulb that did not work-so important the feeling of security this gives when you are the only person there
We were delighted with the size of the accommodation we received and felt that the price was competitive. The venue was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful. We were very happy with the service received.
the overall feeling of the store was very good but there were a couple of things I thought could be improved. I only found one customer toilet and that was quite basic. There was a cold drinks vending machine but a coffee/tea would have been nice too. One of the members of staff was exceptionally kind and made a cup of coffee for my husband who arrived after a long drive. Good clean site and everyone very helpful. thanks
easy access, great staff and service, takes the stress out of where to put all that stuff!
Using Big Yellow was convenient because of location, access, security, start up and close down! The staff delivered a fantastic service and communicating with them was really straightforward. I really appreciated the personal service they gave. You get exactly what they say you're going to get at Big Yellow and I tell all my friends to use you!
When we needed another unit late in the day at very short notice your staff efficiently processed a unit which had just been vacated.
