First time using a storage service in UK, more so Big Yellow. Very convenient, the self-storage concept allows flexibility in terms of access, period & items to be stored. However, the check-in process on-site needs to be further improved. While it was smooth, it took almost 15mins to get details etc keyed in computer; not sure why because I had checked-in online as recommended by Big Yellow to fastened the process on-site. But it still took long. For the padlock, I bought mine which was deemed not acceptable, thus had to purchase from Big Yellow. Initially inquired & showed pix of my padlock to another Big Yellow facility in Uxbridge, it was acceptable - not sure why the inconsistency for different facility. Now I know the availability & convenience of this Big Yellow service, can consider to make use in my future UK trips especially when I need to do some travels.
