Staff are helpful and considerate. Everything is explained clearly and carefully and staff are happy to repeat instructions and run through procedures again if needed. Additional service options are offered but never pushed.
IT WOULD NOT BE 0UT OF PLACE IF SOMETHING COULD BE DONE TO PREVENT OVERHEAD LOCKERS FROM ALLOWING THEIR SPILLS FROM SEEPING INTO LOWER OR LOWLY PLACE LOCKERS AT THE KINGSTON STORE AND PROBABLY AT YOUR OTHER STORES AS WELL. I ONCE EXPERIENCED CONTAMINATION FROM SPILLS COMING FROM AN OVERHEAD LOCKER. WHE'N I HAD A LOCKER AT THE KINGSTON BRANCH. IT'S JUST A PAINSTAKING EXPERIENCE. I WISH YOU COULD DO SOMETHING TO PREVENT SUCH REOCCURANCE.
I had to move a lot of boxes from my Mother's house after she died and the staff found me the right size storage for a great price. I only needed the space for a couple of months but it was great, so convenient and I could get in after hours when I needed to. Staff were incredibly helpful. Thanks guys.
Used this service to store our daughter's stuff over one summer's vacation while she attended university. Excellent service, staff and so easy to use. Would use Big Yellow again if we needed to.

I work overseas and my time in UK is limited. I recently tried to access the Kingston Depot after closing, around 1015 pm and my access code was rejected. Frustrating to say the least and I thought that my access code would give me wider access availability.
Staff very helpful, facility well equipped with various sized trollies that are 'up to the job', and pallet trucks. Light in the individual store rooms would be useful, and out of hours, some warning of the imminant end of the timed general lighting would be an improvemrnt, as would more sensors to turn them on again. The option of shelving in the unit would have been useful. All in all, well priced and simply what was required.
Friendly staff but customer toilets could have been cleaned once in awhile. Other wise great.
I am writing this review because I remember well how impressed I was with the service at Big Yellow. The staff, particularly, were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and everything you would want. Everything worked efficiently and, although it was quite expensive, I thought it was worth it. I don't know why I was surprised at this excellent level of service - maybe because you don't expect it usually.
