The Assistant Manager was excellent - professional but friendly. It didn't take too long and we felt we'd left our stuff in a safe place. Really outstanding customer service. Easy to use and good looking website.

The online check-in process was simple and didn't take too long. The people on reception were helpful and guided me through the final stages of the process - even setting my padlock for me. The room itself is clean and perfect for purpose. I was advised of the option of paying extra to get access outside of opening hours, and told I could take this up if required later, saving me having to overpay at this point. I have dealt with two ladies at the Colliers Wood store - Rahima and (I think) Melissa.

Second time I've used BY, and can't praise the service highly enough. Follow-up calls after initial enquiry are pleasant and not 'pushy', and give the impression that it's important my needs are met rather than that BY get my custom. When I found out last Friday that the room size I required for the following day at the Wandsworth branch was no longer available, a smashing lady called Val was incredibly sympathetic and helpful on the phone, and found me the room I now have at the Merton branch, which turned out to be just as convenient AND cheaper! Melissa at Merton was also a pleasure to deal with, and the whole process from signing up to moving stuff in was smooth and painless. Your staff are a credit to you, and provide a level of customer service that I rarely come across these days.

It couldn't have been easier, I was treated so kindly and felt like a lot of time was given to making sure I knew exactly what to do when I came back with my stuff.
