i was very impressed with the Staff and the store. I was not happy with the "hidden Costs" that were sprung on me when i went to sign the contract.

After making several enquiries for storage for the contents of our home, we settled on Big Yellow. The manager was very helpful concerning the size of storage we would need and negotiated a price which was not only competative but good value. On arrival we were shown several units all of which were well presented and we made a choice to suit our needs. The staff were both efficient and friendly. There was ample trolleys to transport the furnishings and we were impressed by the security and alarm systems in place. The only improvement I could suggest is that it would be helpful if you could reverse the lorry/van so that you are unloading undercover if the weather is wet. We felt save leaving our possessions and would certainly use Big Yellow again

I was a bit unfamiliar with the concept of storage, but was delighted with the enthusiasm and helpful attitude of the staff who showed me around and answered my daft questions. I was impressed with the access arrangements and security; my only point for improvement would be for regular access until 8pm (Mon-Sat). The 50% discount for first 8 weeks and ongoing employer related discount have made self storage more affordable than I anticipated; as did the flexible terms and 7 day notice.

I found myself in a really difficult position all of a sudden.. Big Yellow were brilliant, really easy, and had a great offer on too. The only slight criticism I have is I had to wait 45 minutes before I was properly acknowledged when I went in originally as someone in front of me was taking a long time, and there was only 1 member of staff. Other than that though, all good.
