Spoke to various people before booking, all very professional and thorough. Check was easy. The only minor issue we had was identifying which site we had booked. Emails regarding price were slightly ambiguous and I had to ask for clarification Incase it was disputed later on. Completing an inventory is a bit of a pain - as far as I am aware none of your competitors ask for this and I have not had to do so with previous units. It should be a case of insuring for whatever amount we choose. I will likely seek insurance elsewhere as it seems big yellow might try to avoid paying if something is not recorded, but given that we will eventually have the entire content of a house in storage it is impossible to list everything.
I thought Daniel was very helpful and informative. Unfortunately the additional cost of insurance, deposit and additional weeks payment that was required up front was not made clear to me before check in so I would have appreciated that information being provided upon booking. Had I not had the money available, I would have had to cancel the booking which would have put me in a very difficult position with regards to storing my items.
Jamie was very helpful, down to earth - and honestly just really lovely to talk to! It made moving out of university so much more stress free :)
