Great location in Southsea, found myself visiting the storage when near location as made me feel good to be able to access belongings so easily, making my house move a happy experience!
It's very good and the staff really helped it was clean and easy to use and there was no prob getting stuuf in and out the parking is good and its easy to find
Big Yellow was recommended to me by a friend.I had no idea such a place existed, but when I had the occassion to use the nearest store I received wonderful service. Clean, easy secure access, and dry affordable storage helped me enormously to overcome a very difficult storage problem for a few months.
Always found the staff helpful & at the time we were looking for storage, was the best value for money. The location was a bit out of the way and a nightmare when Pompey were playing at home, so always tried to avoid these times. If we needed storage again, would 'shop around' as usual for the best deal but think Big Yellow would be ard to beat as their prices etc., are very competitive.
easy access, reasonable security, parking good when large vans and lorries aren't loading/unloading. Accommodating staff always willing to give advise.
Generally good, sometimes it would be nice if offers were for both existing customers as well as new ones... after all the existing customers are the people who are paying the long term fees and surely therefore they should be offered or looked after on a lolality basis.
I had a week inbetween moving out of a house and moving into my new house. I popped in to see about storage at Big Yellow Portsmouth. The lady I dealt with was really happy and helpful and she told me of a deal where I could pay for a month up front and pay deposit and then if I only needed the storage for just one week it would be only half price and the rest of the money would be returned straight to my account. And that is how it was. Very pleasant and very cheap. I would reccomend Big Yellow Portsmouth to anyone.
I used the Portsmouth store while I worked at QAH and lived and worked on site at SMH. It was very convenient and the staff actually seemed pleased to see me whenever I went into the office. I stopped using it only because I moved away to a new job. If I come back to Portsmouth I'll be happy to use the store again. It would be really great if there was an easy way to dispose of unwanted stuff at the store (even if it cost something).
Everyone I encountered was helpful & all went out of their way to please - A removal man came to pick up my belongings & the staff accepted a tesco.com delivery for me & helped the chap to pack my shopping away to be transported to my new home in France. Excellent responses to phone & e-mail requests.
NEVER USED STORAGE BEFORE SO WAS VERY PLEASED AT HOW EASY IT WAS TO USE
