I thought the service at Big Yellow Self Storage was very good. The set-up was well explained by the staff and they were very professional. The only problem I did encounter was that sometimes people would park in the unloading bay and leave their car/vans in the way; this made entry with one of the larger trolleys a bit difficult sometimes. I also thought it was a bit expensive, after my introductory period had ended the extra costs made me vacate ASAP, the price you pay for a quality service I suppose.

I put stuff into storage whilst in transit between two jobs and 2 houses. 3 months down the line when I thought I had lost my padlock key and the removal firm were on route to empty my storage unit and would charge me a waiting time for every minute they couldnt work for, the guy on duty couldnt have been more helpful. He came and tried every key I had and brought bolt cutters just in case, calmed me down and got me into my unit (with the key that I had all along) before the van pulled onto the forecourt. Cant praise the Swindon staff highly enough.

I have used Big Yellow on a few occasions and every time it is a pleasure to do business. The staff are excellent the storage is clean and tidy. Overall, an impressive company who just get it right. Thank you.

I use to the store for my Aunt's things whilst she is in a home. Because I seldom visit I often forget my password or even my store location. The staff could not be more helpful or friendly and they always sort me out quickly and without fuss. The storage centre is always bright and clean and I am very satisfied with the arrangement.

I love Big Yellow! It is such a brilliant concept and the best thing about it is the easy access. If you have a numerical padlock you don't even need a single key to use the store or your storage space. So you can go there any time you're passing.

When my mother had to go into a residential care home last year, I had to empty out her house completely so that we could rent it out to pay for the huge care home fees. I was delighted to find Big Yellow storage on my doorstep in Swindon - I was able to offload and store all the furniture until my sister and I were able to sort it all out. Nearly a year later we have finally emptied the room out - thank you for taking all the pressure off - storage for furniture which had no where to go straight away! High recommended.

The staff are helpful, although I wish that there were more staff at weekends.

The manager I spoke to was so knowledgeable about Big Yellow and all the different options on offer, without having to refer to any papers. the information was given in a courteous, friendly way and gave me a feeling that my belongings would be held safely and no query would be too much trouble to answer.

If you need extra space to decorate , fit a carpet or have the builders in, Big Yellow Storage provides space for all the books, china, and furniture so that you can clear a room completely and have a clear space to work in.
