i have been storing my stuff at your swindon branch for over 3 years now and feel that its safe in your care acess is brillient but you pay a price for that!
Very friendly and efficient staff. Location was good, easy to find. Storage was clean and secure. Good arrangements for ease of access to the storage facility. Would definitely use again.
We are regularly recommending Yellow Storage to our family and friends. It really helped us with our storage problems when trying to sell our house. We used our own boxes, however, these could have been purchased , from Yellow Storage and that would have made the storage experience even better as their sizes were practical and would have packed more easily into the unit. We were particularly struck by the general atmoshere of the building. 1. Friendly staff were readily on hand to answer any questions and advise as necessary. 2. The building was comfortably heated and this was in contrast with another storage company that we had previously considered. It is surprising how important this was to us! 3. Because we did not feel cold, we felt relaxed as we worked and this meant the packing could be done more efficiently because we did not feel in such a hurry to get out. 4. Security was reassuring and we felt quite safe when we visited within opening times or after hours. The corridors were well lit and the canned music helped to make them seem less intimidating. 5. The cost, including insurance, was very reasonable. 6. The location was extremely convenient for us as it was only a couple of miles away with easy access from all local areas and not far from major roads and the M4 motorway. We would not hesitate to go to Yellow Storage for any future storage needs.

I have used Big Yellow for over 3 years and have found it to be a good place for self-service storage without any hassle. I have recently down-graded to a smaller space as I have sought to reduce storage costs. The process was very easy. I would like to see extended opening hours beyond 6pm for at least one evening between Monday and Friday to allow access for those who are unable to visit the store during normal daytime working hours.
The big attraction for me was the flexible plan that was arranged by the expert, staff before I decided to store my items and the offer of a promotial deal with flexible payment options. This gave me the confidence in ensuring that should my circumstances change...which they did! Storage solutions at Big Yellow could aslo change allowing trouble free peace of mind storage for my items whilst I relocated home.
The staff were friendly and efficient and setting up access to the storage facility was quick and easy. The security measures in force seem robust but simple to use and actually using the facility is made easy by the provision of trolleys.

The lights are always turned off even when there are people in the building. 6pm is also a bit early to close.How about 8-9pm during weekdays for those who work.
