Staff were friendly and efficient which makes a lot of difference when you are stressed about moving house

I was shown round a variety of storage rooms and given excellent help and advice. The prices were very attractive. The out of hours facility is easy to use.

Being new to the self storage concept, I was some what apprehensive about the whole thing. The staff at the Watford branch could not have been more helpful and I could not fault their customer service.

I used the Watford storage. Inspite of checking in online to speed up the process, my checkin took almost an hour. I had movers waiting at the reception, who I was paying by the hour. The problem seems to be technical, where the system would not be able to print my contract. The room that was given to me had to be changed and i was allocated a room on the 3rd floor which increased my checkin time. Otherwise the pricing and customer service was good.

I find the access very convenient and the registration procedure was very thorough and friendly. It has proved a great asset as I need to store my stuff between leaving one address and moving 200 miles away to an as yet unknown address.

the only good review of Big yellow is of their very pleasant staff. as for value for money, it is expensive and double the cost of the quote, i wont use them again nor recommend them because of the cost and limited access times, mostly mid week office times, with limited access over the weekends.

On paper the charge for storage seemed very fair with a discount for the first month. However on arrival and check in, other charges not made clear made it twice as much. Bit like a budget airline. Very short of staff too but otherwise OK

I spoke with staff. They advised on the size of the storage room. Was advised to get one for a 3/4 bed house which would be more than sufficient as I had a 2.5 bed house. Before using the facility I sold all of by bedroom furniture and 2 matresses and yet only through very careful and tigh packing did we only just manage to use the one room. The staff were very quick to offer another room to rent alongside.

I was very impressed by the courteous & helpful service offered by Jonny at the Watford store.
