I felt very pleased with Gemma as my "check in" person.. she was great.. I dis not know that I would need to outlay so much money up front (although a lot will come back to me) and this kind of threw me; as I had to pay full price upfront for 8 weeks, even though I only need four weeks, to get the 50% off deal... that was not very clear on your web site

My advice to anyone taking out a space on the introductory offer is to think about moving your storage. My husband had a space, for over a year, and when I phoned up to ask if we could change it to my name to make use of the 50% discount we were told the only way to do it was open a new box and move everything. Which we did. Of course when he went to cancel, they offered him the 50% discount for the next 8 weeks. Worth knowing, as it would have saved us an hour of moving heavy boxes!!! So when you're introductory 8 weeks runs out, think about your options!!
I have stored my stuff in a couple of the Big Yellow Storage units over the years and this is definitely the best one I have used. It was very easy to find, the staff were friendly and helpful and the actual place is very clean and secure. I would definitely recommend them.
Excellent value for money and really easy to use, secure storage. Was struck by the cleanliness and very helpful attitude of staff.
Everything about this storage facility was great including the price, location, access and security arrangements. However on arrival the service was extremely lacking. The assistant, who served us, had a very condescending and poor attitude. We found the assistant to be patronising and antagonistic. Acting like they would rather be anywhere else than at their place of work. I did speak to another member of staff while I was there who was more than happy to help so I would like to assume that this was an isolated case.
The staff at Big Yellow were very friendly, helpful and flexible when I needed to change the date and size if my storage. Overall a positive and hassle-free experience.
