Very convenient to store furniture that wouldn't fit into new house and contents stored without any damage for 3 years. Staff very helpful and courteous. Not the cheapest means of storage and may be best more for short term use.
I've stored with Big Yellow in both Beckenham and Bow and both times had a very smooth experience transferring my possessions in, accessing them while in storage and taking them out again. I was very confident in the security - when I used Bow storage I was out of the country for three months and didn't worry at all during that time about the safety of my possessions. The staff at both sites were also very pleasant, efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend Big Yellow to anyone who needs to use rented storage space.
Having had little notice of the need for a short-term furniture store I found Big Yellow on the internet. The website was good and the demonstration of storage room sizes was useful. I found my local store and decided to book a room in store rather than on-line. The staff were helpful and understanding and gave me a tour of the facility including my storage room to make sure that I was happy with it's size. The payment and deposit process was a breeze (as was the deposit refund). Access to the storage room was great and there were plenty of trooleys to help move the furniture. Overall the whole process was a pleasure and took a lot of pain out of a busy and stressful building/decorating experience. Highly recommended.
I found the storage facility very useful. However, towards the end of my two year use of the facility, the vehicles of a local removal firm seemed permanently to occupy much of the parking area. Occasionally this somewhat restricted access and necessitated parking a distance from the loading bays. This was at best merely inconvenient, but in bad weather became an issue.
The service at beckenham was superb.The staff were so helpfull and nothing was a problem.
used the service for about 6 months, ity was efficient when i strated the process, safe and secure and was kept informed every month when the S/O was taken. Sfift easy conclusion when I wnated to end contact as I moved our daughter to her new home.

I was amazed at how easy it was to sort out. One of the tasks on my moving home list that I was dreading was made very quick and simple by your team. The sales guys were very quick to quote and confirm and in no time I had my personals in storage. Great Idea, Great Product, Great Team !
The premises were clean, well lit and secure. The staff were helpful. The opening times on Sunday were disappointing. Parking was a problem - too many lorries parked on site taking up prime spaces.
