Irfan was most charming and helpful on my arrival. He made it all very simple and easy.
Whilst being shown to my storage room - there were two guys wondering around - they stopped and asked the member of staff who was with me - saying that they were looking for something - but only had a name - no other details - certainly not very secure !! Surely people should be vetted before gaining access. It was quite disturbing and the place is quite creepy!! There were two other people being seen whilst I was there and they both had complaints!!
The staff was so helpful and the service was very good,. I will recommend the company to a friend.
I rented a room from this crowd for a couple of months, in order to make it easier for me to move my stuff I paid extra for out of hours access. when I managed to get the time to start moving my stuff it was a couple of days later, at 6 am having spent two hours loading up the car , I was very upset to find that someone from the store had put their own lock on my locker, stopping me from using it. this is not what I paid for, I was forced to leave my car full of my personal items walk home and return at 9am when the staff were there. I received no apology , and in fact they were down right rude, I told them they needed retraining in customer service, and they said I should read the contract. contract or not they should not have denied me access to my storage, their mistake not mine, unfortunately I have paid up for the period I need the storage for, you can be assured I will not stay a minute longer and will not deal with this company again, plus I shall discourage anyone I know from giving them a penny. treat your customers properly or they walk......
After a difficult day at work, some disappointing news about a new house and the need to put all our possessions into storage, I was dreading my visit to Big Yellow expecting a very difficult experience. Fortunately, the staff were really helpful, very cheery and sympathetic to our needs. We were shown around the building, given help with security features and even had our order changed when we found that the original space we looked at would be too small. Would fully recommend the Bow/Hackney Wick branch to anyone looking to store things!

I had a really bad experience with this company, the lady at the reception was in a hurry to go on break, did not smile while I was there, the paper work to ages to finalise,and in the end she did through the pen over the table,I 'm pretty sure that she hates her job!Excluding that everything else were great!
Extremely poor service. Attitude of staff was bad beyond belief.
Overall not a good general attitude diaplyed by reception. They gave the impression they were doing me a favour and had a generally poor attitude whilst I was in the store. I was told over the phone that there was a 10ft square unit available only to be told when I got to the store that they didnt have any so I had to take the more expensive 15ft square unit and the more expensive price. As I was desperate for the space I had no choice but to take it. I will be mving out once the 50% discount is up and will not be using you again. Other providers I have used beofre supply extended hours of access for free so I was shocked to hear that I must pay for this on top of the price quoted.
