Having had to move out all of a sudden I was so impressed with how easy it was to arrange a big yellow storage room in Brighton, booked it the day before I needed it, very friendly chap even helped me find the locker when I got lost!

A clean and secure place where to storage your stuff without hassle. Book in advance tho otherwise the storage sizes you are looking fro might be fully occupied!

I was a bit confused over the size of the room, mistaking cubic for width and length I think and had to upgrade from 20 to 30. The staff were very friendly and helpful, this made all the difference in what is a quite stressful time, ie moving house.

It was so much easier to put my stuff into Big Yellow storage than I thought. The people were incredibly helpful and friendly (apart from the guy I called initially!) and made the whole thing very pleasant. I expected the building to be a huge dilapidated warehouse, but the bright corridors, and general cleanliness of the place made me sure that my stuff would be safe while I was gone. Big Yellow were great at being really flexible, n terms of arrival / departure times & access hours, which is exactly what you need when you are moving house and trying to hold down a full-time job at the same time! Only criticisms are some last-minute added costs (the initial sales guy again!) meant that the storage was not as cheap as I was initially led to believe, as insurance and padlock (which was same price as a week's storage!) were not included until I was just about to pay. Once I moved in and met the other staff, this didn't seem to fit in with the general ethos of the place. This made me seriously consider not going with Big Yellow, but I am definitely glad I did because the whole thing was just really simple, which was my main concern.

Professional, helpful and friendly staff, easy to use

I was impressed by the security and friendly customer service despite the huge amount of paperwork! I've never used the service before and would definately recommend it.

I called on the day to arrange a storage unit for a friend, the assistant was very helpful and friendly on the phone. On arrival I didn't realise the amount of paperwork that was required to be filled out but the gentleman dealing with the paperwork was very helpful and answered all of my questions (for what must have been the hundredth time that day) but was still happy to help. I was offered a choice of storage spaces and a full explaination given of how the facility operates. Well worth the cost for added peace of mind

I found the staff very friendly even though i had noisy children with me they took time to take an interest and answer their questions as well as deal with myself.
