The lady who checked us in could not have been more helpful. Customer service personified.

I recently helped my Mother-In-Law to move the contents of her house into storage at the big yellow. I was shown the storage room and was assured that everything would fit. I also looked around for a moving company and got a good quote which I accepted. Come moving day the movers turned up and straight away started complaining that the amount of stuff would never fit on his van or in the storage space, a bully really. When he got to the Big Yellow he complained even more, demanding more money and stating that the contents would not fit. The two ladies at the Big storage were excellent, they reassured me that everything would fit and not to be intimidated by the movers. The really went out of thier way to provide excellent customer service to the point of calculating the cubic dimensions of the van and the storage space with the van being smaller so would fit, enabling me to have clear facts about how the furniture etc would fit and relay this to the movers. The ladies were fantastic, reassuring me and checking I was ok throughout the move, and made me a very welcomed cup of coffee. If it wasn't for the staf at the Big Yellow I would have had to spend a lot more money on storage and paying extra to the mover. So a HUGE THANK YOU. I didn't get the names of the two ladies but it was the two who were on duty on 19/07/2012 in the afternoon.

Big Yellow helped us to solve the transition that people invariably have when moving between houses. There is a good range of handling equipment available at the branch which facilitates ease of placement into the alloted space.

They were very helpful and patient with me and even waited till after hours to check me in. Highly recommended.

Found the store very convenient, and as a new customer the staff did their best to accomodate my requests for out of hours access. However, as the clocks were changing on the weekend, it would have been helpful if the store security clocks also changed - I ended up waiting outside for an hour at 05:00 as the security code thought it was 04:00 and would not let me in until an hour after I arrived!

I had to travel across water to use this facility. All arrangements were made by phone and e-mail and the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. On arrival on a difficult day (strikes across the city), the welcome was exceptional and included a cup of tea and good advice to a weary traveller! Huge lifts and trolleys made the unloading easy and quick. The space was clean and the security is very good.

I was in a jam, a quick turnaround in property left me stuck. The staff at Big Yellow Cardiff were friendly, understanding and had me sorted in 30 minutes. Yeah, the price could be better, but then when you consider the facilities, access, security arrangements etc etc, it balances out. I would recommend this in a heartbeat.....thanks big yellow!

The facitility was easy to organise and the staff were friendly and helpful, however Sunday opening hours should be longer as this was the only opportunity we had to move our items.

Great facilities and procedures properly explained by very helpful staff.
