I've never used self storage before and was unsure as to what I actually needed. I found the big yellow online quote very easy to complete, and the follow up phone call to check my requirements exceptionally helpful. Having reserved online, it was very straightforward to go into the store and within about 20 minutes I was able to start unloading boxes! I was shown a choice of different units to make sure they matched my needs and received excellent customer service throughout the whole process.

We needed storage quickly due to moving from the South of France, the contact with the Cardiff store was exceptional, within minutes I would get a reply. Cannot fault it knowing our personal items are safe. I would deffinately recommend using the Big Yellow Storage.

Putting large amounts of personal belongings into storage can be very stressful - whether it is because of a change of address or an emergency. On top of that there are all the security and legal issues to deal with. The staff at Big Yellow in Penarth Road ,Cardiff could not have been more helpful. We had arrived close to closing time, and very much as the result of an emergency. They dealt with everything calmly and smoothly - understood the stress I was under, explained all the secuirity issues and helped with all the paperwork in a friendly and thoughtful way, advised on space and suggested a smaller less expensive unit would be better than the one I had booked ( they were right). Everything went smoothly. I felt looked after , the facilities were great, security was good. A very positive experience and a great service. Would not hesitate in recommending.

I chose Big Yellow Storage in Cardiff after researching other storage companies to compare quality and price. To me, it was the excellent customer service that set Big Yellow apart. Staff were highly trained, capable and knew exactly what they were doing, whist still being professional, polite and friendly. The service they provided was efficient and they gave us the best deal available to our circumstances as well as giving us all the relevant info necessary.
