this is the second time ive used yellow storage, both times for house moves, it has made the moves so easy moving most of my things boxed and out of the way into storage, leaving the bulky stuff for the day of the move, then collecting boxes as and when needed. good selection of sized rooms to choose from and opening times to suit,and defiently easy to use.
I felt that they had time for me, making me feel valued, despite other customers waiting, they didnot rush me.
Well thought out, so easy to use, staff very professional, security adds peace of mind. Have told loads of people how good they been.
I've found Big Yellow nothing but helpful at every step, whether packing, recommending vans, access to the room... Staff have been friendly and helpful and it's been very good value for money.
The Colchester store is very conveniently situated, modern, well equipped, and the staff are very helpful and well informed.

Whilst researching various methods of storing my furniture between house moves I first disregarded the Big Yellow company as I thought that being the market leader they would be the dearest. I was wrong and after other companies had tried to fleece me and charge exessive fees and insurance costs, I contacted Big Yellow and was blown away. The costs were in fact cheaper than all the others and they were more flexible in their service. The location and access, together with the actual building itself could not have been bettered. Security and insurance was just as it should be and I felt confident that my belongings were being looked after. Would I go back if the need arose again? Indeed I would! Would I recommend them to others? I have already done that to lots of my friends and colleagues. Thanks Big Yellow - oh I nearly forgot - their staff were friendly and expert in their approach.
Having never used a storage facility before I never realised just how easy and professional the whole expereince would be. On enquiring at the Big Yellow self storage depot,I was plesently suprized to be given the information I wanted without being pushed or sales talked into signing a contract TODAY ! ! we were aloud to come away to mull it over in our own time, which was good, so much so that we came back and signed a contract the very next day, very freindly staff, taking us through the whole set-up personley. Thank you and well done
the store is fine it is just get into it as you have to go round the house to get to it as there is only one way in and out
