The security and comfort Big Yellow offers is excellent. Access could be extended into evenings more but that is only a minor quibble. Overall excellent service

BIG YELLOW REALLY FULFILLED OUR BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS.

Our Big Yellow storage facility is always clean and the staff friendly. But we hate spending any length of time there sorting out our unit because of the incredibly irritating tinny speakers spewing pop music out on each floor. The music would be fine but the speakers sound awful and are truly grating and annoying to have to listen to. It would be much better to either upgrade the speakers to something decent, or just turn it off! This may sound like a small thing, but it makes us dread using the facilities, and might make us think twice if we had to rent again in the future.

Ease of access to rooms seems to vary depending on the location of the room. Previously I had a small room along a narrow corridor on the third floor which was very difficult to manoevre large and/or heavy items in and out of - the Big Yellow carts were too wide for the corridor so I had to carry everything to and fro. However there are other rooms of the same size opening onto wider corridors, so obviously those are much better value than the one I had. Hence it seems to be a matter of pure luck as to whether you get the room size you want in a good or a bad location). Sunday opening hours are too limited.

I was in Brazil when I had to extend the length of my contract and through a few emails I managed to get it all worked out. The staff was very helpful.

The best self storage company I have ever found and used. I have used safestore, access & big yellow. Big yellow ticks all the right box. The store manager Ali is very helpful & will go out of his way to ensure that you received the best value for money. No problems so far. Great service with a friendly smile. The staff know my name, and call out for me when they see it. This is very good in my opinion and makes a good relationship. Cheers

For those that live in Central London the Hanger Lane Big Yellow offers a compromise between cost and location. I feel that a few special offers could be thrown towards long-standing users (a free week here and there, cheap upgrades to the next size etc.). I must say that I have always found the staff to be most polite and efficent.

Very helpful especially as my flat moving changed at last minute, staff are very friendly and helpful.

I don't visit my space that often but when I do go I'm always impressed by the facilities and their cleanliness. I also have every confidence that my possessions are safe and secure. Whenever I deal with staff (particularly on the telephone) they are friendly, polite, helpful and professional. Everything you could want in a service really. Thanks Big Yellow.

From the beginning, the staff were always very helpful and honest with their advice on what space I needed to store all my items safely and securely. They did not try to sell me a larger space room just for the sake of gaining more money for their company - this attitude has always reassured me that my items were safe!
