The website was very easy to use. When I called with some queries, Ross was very friendly and helpful. When I went in to store my items, Ross was the person on reception and was again really helpful and friendly. He explained everything very clearly. The only issue I have is that the unit is quite expensive for how much space you get.

I enquired online as to the cost of a room as it was outside your office hours. I had, that day visited a couple of storage facilities nearer to my home run by other comoanies but wasn't impressed with how they were maintained. As I already have a unit at your Staples Corner branch, I decided to try Big Yellow again. The next morning I received a call from Ross who was very friendly, helpful and informative. He reserved a bigger room than I enquired about, saving me money in the process, and reassured me that I could change the room without any problem if it wasn't the right size. An email asking if I could change the move in date by one day was replied to by Alison within 25 mins confirming the change and thanking me for my feedback on how Ross had handled my enquiry. I arrived at the facility at about 2.30pm on the Sunday and Ross was on duty. He thanked me for the positive feedback I had given and I was pleased to hear that it had been passed on to him. Once again Ross was friendly, helpful and proactive and it was a pleasure dealing with him. He made everything easy.

No person-person initial inquiries, only online. It was incredibly easy and informative. A follow up call from the Big Yellow Store gave me more useful information regarding my move. On the day of the move Ross was extremely helpful and upbeat which was lovely. Gave a thorough tour and made sure we understood everything. The move was then really easy and straightforward. Very impressed.

My brother completed the online application, but was unable to attend in person as he is stuck in Scotland due to Covid 19 and the travel restrictions. When he made initial enqueries at your service and spoke with someone at head office, he explained his situation and was told tha the could make payment online. However, when the day came for his belongings to be moved into your storage, he was told that he had to be at your premises in person. Again he explained that he was stuck in Scotland and therefore could not be there in person. It appears tha the person he initially spoke to did not make a note on your system that he was was going to pay online due to his circumstances. Therefore, he had to transfer funds to my account and I had to pay when I attended in person on the day. This caused inconvenience to him and me on the day, just because of insufficient notes on your system.

Lisa Adeosun at the Ilford Branch really took good care of us, as we have never used the Big Yellow storage before and had a long stressful day packing.
