As a first-timer to self storage this was an ideal service. The staff were polite and talked me through the whole process patiently. The space feels secure and clean, and the size was just right for the contents.
On 24th dec 2012 i went to your Meton branch to enquire about starting storage on that day. The receptionist was explained everything very proffessionally, politely and friendly, and said she was closing at @2pm. I was dissapointed at the early closing as i then only had a few hours to get my stuff. I then went to other companies. They all closed @ 2pm because it was xmas eve., however one had very competitive prices. I then telephoned your receptionist at Merton, she offered me an "out of hours" pass just for that night. This immediately gained my custom and i bought space straight away. I think this is EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE as the staff member listened and then knew my main concern and acted accordingly and quickly seized a sales opportunity by offering me an important benefit, which in turn benefited your company because i gave my businesss to Big Yellow and not the other company.
I had never used self storage before and was apprehensive. The staff at Merton made everything so easy and answered (very promptly) all of the queries I had in advance of using the facility. When I arrived to use the facility, the staff member was incredibly helpful. The whole experience was brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to recomment Big Yellow to friends and family.
I have used similar storage in Ayledbury. Because of this when I needed something local again I came and explored opportunity in the area. I was totally blown away with the attitude and service I have received. I teach service and I can teach these people nothing! Everything about this Meton Stroe is amazing and I will always refer to them as the perfect example of service and facility for filling a need. Well done and thank you, thank you. Bev Garside
Checked out Axa storage they were more expensive yet were insisting that they are cheaper than Big Yellow, I checked out Big Yello anyway and turns out they had a half price offer for two months so signed up immediately. Big Yellow had friendly and helpful staff, easy to use facilities but you have to pay extra if you wan't to come in after 6pm during week days. Overall good place to store stuff and should be first point to call when looking for storage.
Very helpful and nice to have the wrapping and boxes and tape etc to make moving into storage easy. The staff all helped explain how things work and I feel happy to store my things with Merton's Big Yellow Storage.
First time I've used storage and can't believe my house fitted in the room! Was clean, easy to use and liked the high security. Friendly staff and appreciated recommended removers. Only thing I didn't realise was different size locks wouldn't fit so I think this should have been made clearer. Finally would like access hours to be till 8pm as standard through the week to account for working days, although have been helpful arranging ad hoc access.
I was quite worried about the whole process, but was so relieved that it did not take as long as I thought and the friendliness of the staff made you feel completely at ease and the process quite simple. The building itself is quite amazing!
Every thing is good and convenient. Easy to access ,parking is easy.there were two staff when I boked in the male staff was excellent and friendly but the female staf was very impolite .
This is the second time I have used Big Yellow and both times have been easy and uncomplicated. Staff are pleasant and well trained, Joanne, at the Merton store was particularly kind and helpful. Access was easy, my unit accessible and clean and the late hours are a great help. I would certainly recommend everyone to Big Yellow.
