Great service and a great facility however I don't understand how they get the business at the prices they charge. Must be corporare moves where money doesn't mattter. They did discount against a much cheaper place so we were able to afford them (just). Helpful web site well presented.
Norwich Big Yellow can boast the best of both worlds: very modern accommodation, and helpful friendly staff who take an interest in the customer and haven't lost the art of old-fashioned courtesy - that goes for everyone from the counter staff to the 'porters'. But because it is a busy place it DOES need more than one loo!
I was impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of your staff. the facilities are excellent. the access is easy and central. staff have been incredibly helpful. brilliant solution to keeping non essential property of uni children in one town when they're in between student accommodation! Easy to use, easy for them to access and saves them hauling bits and pieces up and down the country between terms!
excellent idea if you are short of space and need to store your items . assistant very helpful and explained how everthing worked.
I went to the store with a problem and, although there was no solution, Ethna search around to offer a convenient alternative that I could not refuse. Next morning, when I went to move all my stuff, Andy had already all the papers ready. That is an efficient team. On top of that, both came across friendly and all the time a smile in their faces. I wish more business had employers like Ethna and Andy!

We had to suddenly move out of our home in under 24 hours due to keeping the moving chain going, an exceptionaly stressful 24 hours. The staff were excellent and made a horrible situation alot easier to handle, we were offered coffee on early arrival and all the paperwork was simple and stressless. I would reccommmend Norwich Big Yellow to everyone and anyone looking for starage needs. The reccommended store size was spot on, no space wasted and not to small either. My Wife and I would like to say a Massive thanks to all involved.
I was impressed by the security features and efficient organisation and ease of use. I know I can add an out of hours option and appreciate that staff need time out, but it would be useful to be able to come and go for longer on Sundays, particularly as I can only usually get to Norwich at weekends, and then only once a month.
Good staff, layout etc. I have just two bits of constructive criticism. 1) The trolleys could do with some kind of brake. The car park is slightly sloped and the trolley tends to trundle down it if you don't park it properly and if you try to drag a heavy item off it the trolley follows; 2) Out of hours you have to drive in and out on the wrong side to enter the code. All it needs is a little traffic island in the centre and then you can still drive on the left, and maybe seperate gates on each side so they open quicker
Good service, check in did take some time but it was necessary, and extra member of staff would make things run smoother if several persons turned up to check in at the same time. Layout of the floors were slightly confusing but was happily taken directly to the room i booked so wasn't an issue.
