Smooth checkin and really polite staff. Dan and Lily were really warm and welcoming. We were informed in detail about the requirements and had a good overall experience. Highly recommended.

Dan was absolutely amazing with all my queries explained and my mind at ease for the start of using The Big Yellow Self Storage facilities. So a huge thank you Dan. Dave helped us today with the last few bits that needed signing for and it was a very small transition to the start of placing our items into the rented storage space. My wife and I were looking for a good reputable Storage company to tend for our storage whilst forthcoming essential house improvements are to be carried out in our home. We've never used or relied upon a commercial storage firm to look after our personal items before - so this to be a first time. So pleased at our first enquiry to know we can totally rely on Big Yellow Self Storage, Cray Avenue, Orpington, Kent. We made our enquiries with a visit to the site /presentable modern reception office ( Saturday 4/2/23), SO very helpful and informative. We thank you BHRIN, you are a real gentleman, your very polite, courteous, knowledgeable guidance and understanding help was absolutely brilliant 👏.You are an excellent member of staff and asset to your company. We purchased some container boxes for our needs, excellent quality products on display in the reception office. Container boxes of all varied sizes.(in strong robust cardboard or plastic), tapes, marker pens, packaging materials etc. A large modern but fairly recent established storage business. A modern, spacious, very clean, hygenic, airy, warm and dry, but ventilated facility well lit throughout the whole building. A range and choice of lockers of various sizes to accommodate watched 24/7 by the security tech.in and around the building.Good wide efficient loading lifts that connect from the loading bays ( ground floor) to a few upper levels, with well routed corridors and rather chic but safe smooth flooring to assist wheeled loading trolleys of different sizes to be pushed /pulled with ease. Easily accessible loading bays connecting car park next to the welcoming and presentable reception office, and a good car park and entrance to cater also for the disabled too! The Big Yellow Self storage building stands out with its yellow exterior decor and is accessed of the busy Cray Avenue in Orpington. It is very close to St.Mary Cray railway station 🚉 ( network South - east). Nearest TFL bus stops- (Northbound - Stop SJ Nugent Retail park) and ( Southbound - Stop SH Stanley Way) Nos. 51,273,661,B14,N199,R1,R11,S31. I personally trust this company and site to safely store and to look after your personal belongings, especially if you are going through any domestic changes, major house improvements, any other upheavals! The prices very reasonable too with insurance cover up to £3,000 for your contents in storage. Once again thank you BHRIN, for your very professional and kind help, and qoute...nothing was too much of asking, well done 👏. Once again I was totally delighted and so happy with the brilliant knowledgeable service given by Dan and Lillie. Great quality pack of boxes and a plastic container suitable for paper content. This reputable storage firm in Orpington definately worth checking out for storage long and short term, the facilties here I've seen for myself...'top notch'; but most of all Dan and Lillie only to happy to help with any of your enquiries...in my view they deserve my highest praise. 👍👍As with my previous review, directions, public transport ( near to St Mary Cray railway 🛤 Station network South Eastern) still same no change. Good safe parking here ( ♿ disabled parking, accessible entrance very modern, and a toilet if needed). The site under high security surveillance camera inside and outside.
