Stephanie Purnell gave fantastic customer service and was extremely friendly and approachable. She made me feel confident in Big Yellow Self Storage as this is my first time using storage but she also went the extra mile to make sure I didn't just feel like a customer but as someone she was interested to have a conversation with.
- quick response to queries and changes before I moved in - both via email and phone. - staff member I dealt with (Rob I think?) was really friendly, amenable, helpful with all processes on the day of the move. - storage unit was clean, easily accessible with trolley, lift etc, parking close to door, security all explained in detail, it's user friendly and well secured. - payment process, insurance and payment deadlines all explained clearly and in full.
I received everything that I could have hoped for from Big Yellow Storage. The quote that I initially put through was for a unit that was bigger than I needed but Charlotte helped give me a quote for a more suitable size. This combined with the flexibility that I was given in terms of length of stay and the option to upgrade to a bigger size if necessary was great!
I found the pricing policy quite complicated.
In terms of customer experience, service, friendly staff and overall - I was really and I mean really impressed however you need to be completely transparent with the price when you offer a quote. The hidden extras are an absolute killer and will stop me from using you again unfortunately.
