This is the first time I've used Big Yellow, and so was a little hesitate about the whole process, of storage, outside family, friends, and colleagues' spare rooms, and garages. I was very pleasantly surprised, by a few factors. 1) Staff interaction was effortless and knowledgeable, from Taylor at H/O, initially, to Sophie, Ben and Sam, at Hillsborough, Sheffield. They took their time to guide me through the system and process. They showed me area, unit, and entry and leaving procedure. They made it look simple. 2) Process of storage was simple, and quick. 3) Rates were fair. 4) Security of location, inside and out.

Lots of friendly contact. However, I would have liked clearer breakdowns throughout the process of the specific different costs - I was a bit taken aback by the final bill!

Very good in unusual circumstances, with all the current Covid restrictions.

Initial enquiry was handled well and info given was accurate. On site staff member was helpful and informative, just a shame he was on his own at a very busy time, which led to a long wait. I appreciate that the current situation prolongs matters. All in all, simple and efficient.

The initial enquiry online was very easy and the gentleman who called to confirm explained the process well especially during uncertain times with health and safety.

Was straight forward to book and check in online. I was served by Sophie and Sam, they were so friendly and helpful. I’d come back to the hillsbourgh branch for their service alone!

Everything was very straightforward. Staff are obviously very well trained and managed.

Ben was excellent from start to finish, he clearly explained the process and answered all our questions.
