Victoria and her colleague were excellent. I would hire Victoria especially for any team. I’ve rarely come across such a competent leader. Excellent service provided.

This transition from start to finish was an absolute pleasure. Everything was made so simple and the customer service was second to none. In fact, never in my life have I been so satisfied with a service. The representatives (Learna and Victoria) went over and beyond their duty to ensure all my needs were met. Will definitely be recommending this facility in the future. Thanks for a great experience and hiring fantastic staff. Really makes the difference. If they would have accepted, I would’ve tipped. I really was that impressed.

Initially I compared several storage companies. But big yellow had a discount that seemed intriguing. I had called and confirmed the storage, then came in the day after for paperwork processing. The facility is Covid secure and well managed. I was served by Victoria, and we were able to process all of the paperwork within 10 minutes. The documents and policies were well explained. I moved in 4 days later, and am confident my items are safe with big yellow.

Incredibly swift response both via email, calls and also a WhatsApp msg I sent!! Learna took me through the whole process clearly omitting no details whatsoever. Learna made the move incredibly easy and hassle free. Learna was highly professional, easy to chat with over the details and friendly. Very impressed with the whole process from start to finish.

Reserving a room was easy and so was filling out the online check in but thats where it stopped. I went into reception and there was only 1 person behind the counter. He informed that as he was the only one there it would take about 30mins. From parking my car to signing the contract I was there for about 2 hours! I was shown the room and was not happy with it due to it having the metal pylon thing so he changed it for me which was nice. I was also led to believe (by the website) that the weekly cost would be taken each week from direct debit, not taken monthly. Also there was no information whilst booking about how much the deposit and insurance would cost. I think if I had been giving this info upon booking I would have been better informed to make a decision as to whether to rent a storage unit with yourselves. I'm guessing this is how you get people to make a booking and rent the unit by being deceitful and not transparent with all cost included. It should also be made clear when booking online that the higher the value of things you are storing affects the cost of the insurance which is compulsory, again another thing that contributes to big yellow making money. Speaking with other customers on my first visit they also felt my frustration in regards to the lifts. There is only 1 button that operates 2 lifts. These should be operating on 2 buttons so that 2 families can both go up/down together.
