Very helpful staff and fuss free process

I was called soon after booking and given all information I needed. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The only thing that could be better is more information at the stage of booking online about extra charges for things like insurance and security deposit.

Gemma was brilliant, patient and friendly, in a non-pushy way. I had trouble with the online registering and she was able to help me out which made it a much nicer experience. I realise we have to do things in a different way now but so much nicer to deal with a person than a computer.

I was helped by Paula at the West Norwood branch and she could not have been more helpful; she advised that I downgraded to a smaller space when she saw how much I had brought (even keeping the discount I would have got on the bigger one) to save me money, and explained lots of useful information about the site that I didn’t know such as getting parcels delivered. Couldn’t have asked for better help!

From my first enquiry call to the move into my unit, everything was so easy and straightforward. The staff member took time to explain everything and gave me all the information that I needed. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend Big Yellow Storage to my friends.

The description of the size of the room was misleading. To say that a 60ft room had the capacity of a 1 bed flat - it was tiny! I ended up with a 100ft, and also a number of rooms had pillars in them or corners cut off. It took 1/2hr to find a suitable space.
