Next to a big tesco, a petrol station and with zipvan in the car park and less than 10 mins walk from vauxhall tube this couldn't be easier! Incredibly helpful staff - especially when I had to upgrade to a bigger room 2 weeks later. Easy to get in to and out of with out of hours access and would use again if needed. Note - if you have any furniture with a house move you need more than 30 sq ft!
A very simple and professional experience. Everything explained and straightforward The storage facilities are modern clean safe and well maintained. This is NOT a windy dirty warehouse! Very pleased
We were on holidays in England and Europe and didn't want to carry all our luggage all the time so we hired a locker from Big Yellow at Kennington to store our big cases while we holidayed with smaller bags. It was very convenient and made our holiday so much easier.
From the moment I first enquired about a space online, the service has been excellent. I have been called by friendly staff, adviced on everything I needed to know and been offered assistance in case of anything else. When I arrived at the branch to store my stuff the staff was very friendly, quick and efficient. Thank you to Paul at his colleagues for their help! Would recommed further and use it again.
The Building is hidden on a back street and difficult to locate. There is nowhere near enough parking. The staff attempted to be accommodating, but it was evident that there was no where near enough of them. It took 30 minutes to get served. The management seemed unconcerned by this. The signing in process was rushed and overly complicated. The building in itself serves its purpose, but dont expect to be served quickly or efficiently. Its also expensive.
Thanks to all the staff at Kennington Big Yellow.All the relevant information was easy to access,help provided when needed and it was all so easy.I booked everything on-line,checked in on the day and it was all done in an hour.I can go away knowing that my things are safely stored in a secure enviroment.
The lady that served me, I think her name is Lauren if I am not mistaken, was so lovely. explained everything I needed to know, instead of throwing a whole lot information at me. The process was quick and easy, and stress free, which is ideal when your moving house. The actually storage room was so clean! I was recommended to Big Yellow by a friend, and I am glad they did.
Registration took a long time (longer than to help my removal men fill their van and to drive to the location). I thought this would be quick as I had registered on line, used Big Yellow before. Was also told I had to buy a mattress cover for the 2.5 weeks and unlike the Yellow Box in Kingston you have to buy a cover for the floor too. It's a good storage solution but their should be a fast track service for those that have been before as movers cost a lot per hour! The room was also very tall but it's of course more useful if things don't need to be stacked so high as this is bad for your stored items and I worry that some of my belongings might crush - fingers crossed!
Take your bone marrow, dna, blood sample. just wanted to store items not be processed like a prisoner. Big brother, cost much more than initial offer.
I had a great experience at Big Yellow in Kennington, it was really easy to get my stuff down to the room, and it'll hopefully be as easy to get it back out again. My only gripe is the fact that you have to pay for 4 weeks up front - So for short-term storage (I'm only storing stuff for ten days) it's a bit of a financial hurdle to have to overcome, especially considering all of the other expenses of moving house!
