I have found Big Yellow extremely easy to use, and staff have always been willing and able to help with any queries. The facilities are excellent, clean and safe, and I would not hesitate in recommending Big Yellow to friends and family also in need of storage.
The overall experience of renting a storage space is strange. Three pointers: the initial paperwork is strangely more extensive than you would think it should be (perhaps it mimics the car rental process, but an alternative streetcar version could be set up?), and while there is great security measures put in place, going to your storage area by yourself at night, out-of-hours is still a relatively scary experience! Finally, really figure out how much stuff you have, and how you might be able to pack in together; you probably don't need as big of a space as you think.

They explained everything to us before we signed and were flexible when we needed to change the duration and size of our storage with no extra charges added even though it meant they would be getting less money of us. One thoroughly satisfied customer!
