The Reading Big Yellow store is the most conveniently located storage company in the area, with direct access to the A33. Loading and unloading is extremely easy with about 10 meters between your car and the elevators. The facility is extremely secure. For long term stays it could get a bit expensive, but I stayed for 8 weeks it was a really good deal with the 50% discount.
I was very impressed with Big Yellow right from my initial contact by telephone and then follow through to all of the processes required to ultimatelly store my goods at the Reading facility. Of particular note was the very clear telephone explanation of the pricing structure and the terms and conditions of Big Yellow's offer followed by confirmatory email, and the quality of service at Reading which I would describe as exemplary. Pricing was not my main criteria provided that Big Yellow was broadly competitive and my reserach into other providers found that they were. The quality of both service and the immaculate storage facilities carried the day in my decision alongside competitive pricing.
The cost was above what I would expect but the facilities were good
